Sales Engineer
The successful candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of experience in Sales in Automotive Company, willing to travel and to get goals, proactive, honest and results oriented.
Some ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Plans, develops, and implements strategies to obtain new business from targeted customers.
• Works with division managers to: a) make certain all customer services are provided in accordance with customer potential for business, b) ensure procedures which will improve the quality of services provided by the divisions to the customers, c) keep division management informed of specific problems in the areas of delivery performance, quality, and engineering services and works with assigned division personnel to correct problems.
Acts as the primary liaison for designated customers and coordinates all customer needs to ensure timely, satisfactory, and cost-effective production in person and by telephone. Facilitates meetings between customers and all functional areas within the Company.
Communicates and coordinates all information between the customer and the Company including product design, sales, pricing, delivery, quality, customer programs, global opportunities, value-added opportunities, and problem resolution.
Communicates customer satisfaction metrics, including determining and recommending appropriate responses to customers.
Establishes visitation schedules, including coordinating visits to the customers by corporate sales, marketing, engineering and divisional personnel.
Learns enough about the customer to successfully work within the customer's organization and culture.
Creates and follows-up action plans developed in account management plans.
Provides market intelligence and pricing plans to the divisions, which will help insure that the profit objectives of the divisions are met.
Annually prepares sales forecast for designated customers to meet divisional Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and profitability objectives.
Prepares and submits a monthly report to the Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing related to applicable market information and/or business activity for designated customers to communicate sales and marketing data to Executive Committee.
Works with customers on product design at initial stages of product development.
Participates in Value Analysis/Value Engineering programs as applicable to support customer requirements and/or goals.
Must have passport and american visa up dated.
